« on: July 26, 2007, 11:36:45 AM »
We'll it's been in the making for a little while now and the new owner is selling the car @ the RM Monterey Classic car auction.

Here's the link, scroll down and click on the Heb.

Yikes! check out what they estimate it will sell for!?!?
I wonder what it will bring? any guesses?
Auction is Aug 17th

It's a no reserve auction so it may be a bargin...or if someone really wants it who knows!

It would be so cool to see it break $100,000

my guess is that the owner of the heb-rod saw that the rich rivera owned gfk heb sold recently for $100k+ and wants to catch the action while it's hot.

best of luck to him.

i hope that geoffs old heb gets to $100k. the car is fu@#ing sick and is still, imho, the best looking and well thought out full custom acvw out there.

You know I always wondered what it would sell for at say Barret Jackson but that didn't matter to me. I got what I think was fair for it and I hope he sells it and make a good profit! thats what this world is all about.

The guy I sold it to is cool and I wish him all the best.

The two 21 windows did pretty nice too..
The '67 went for 38,500 and the '66 went for 35,750.

Though.. I'd take 46,750 too..  ;)

Wow.

Geoff,

The last owner did not have the car that long. Any ideas why he sold it so quickly?

Tired of it already? Bought it with the idea of flipping it? Or ...?

Just curious.

It's an insane world out there... and I'm proud to be part of it!
