last night carlos & i cruised out to #2 road and blundell in richmond to check out the scene. carlos had been there before and said we should give it a try. not a bad turnout, lots of american muscle, a few british imports and we rolled 2 deep representing the acvws B) .

apparently it happens every thursday, it starts after work-ish (5-6pm) and goes until whenever. it would be cool to round up some more acvws and take that place over.

this acadian canso apparently belongs to the guy that organizes the meet...

nice meteor for sale....

bitchin slammed ford truck....

tr4a covered in cobra badges with a 327 stuffed in there....

clean impala wagon....

after the show cruising to shawarma......

Most of the cars that go there belong to the members of the Richmond Street Rodders. The guys from the Richmond Street Rodders where the ones to get this event going on Thursday Nights. That night there was 76 cars that came out to #2 Road and Blundell to hang out. I'm one of the members of the Richmond Street Rodders and we would like to see more cars come out from all over to have a look.

that's cool. i had a great time....almost inspired me to get a piece of detroit steel to tear around in.

I was there around 8:45pm that night. A little later then I wanted but still lot's of cars there at that time. I'm running a Blown Small Block Ford Mustang. My Beetle is not done yet so I'm driving my mustang for now. Lanny let me know when you are back in town and what Thursday night you think you mite come out. We have a couple of guys in the club that are into Bugs. As for anyone else out there in the V.W. community bring your cars out.

good place to hang out but it is not or never was an organised event. Just a couple of guys hanging out having coffee who told their friends who told theirs and so on as well as others just driving by and took notice.
