Was this color green available in 1974?  This is just a picture off the samba,

I just bought a 1974  this color green, beetle with irs suspension... that has been sitting for 12 years.  it has the sport wheels on it, I couldn't crawl under the car to see the transmission to verify the year

I thought this green was only available later.  Will find out more once it gets here.  The mirror is the same green, it has black door handles on it.

It has so many boxes of parts with it, I won't know if it is missing anything till  I get into it, which won't be until my new garage is done,  I will have many other projects to do first, so reality would be next year at the earliest.  It most likely will become my daughters when done.

Kinda looks like the original colour of my yellow car.  I thought it was called \"forest green\", or \"Lofoten green\" or something like that.

As far as i know Lofoten is an Early Golf colour, 74-78ish. I sopose it could be a beetle colour at the same time.
