Help! Need To Find The
« on: May 14, 2007, 01:16:59 PM »
I'm sure there was a local guy or shop who's name was mentioned here before which can weld our mag cases.  Anyone know who and where?

No luck with the yellow pages or a search here.

I am going to use hts2000 on my case to repair my lifter bores.  Easy to use, and strong also.  No tig needed.
If it doesn't hold, then I will tig it next time.  The only problem is getting magnesium welding rods in small quantities like 5 -10  rods.  I'm not going to order 4 life times worth of welding rods for a few repairs.  HTS2000 for me.  It has not let me down yet.

Huh.....HTS2000......just looked it up.....never heard of it before....looks interesting.
Think it would handle split open threads at the oil pressure sender?
