Is anyone going to Bug-O-Rama or the VW classic in anything that could haul a VW truck back up to Blaine, WA (pantec storage)? I could try to find a bus friendly tow bar.
$500 gas money if anyone can do it.

Truck is in Santa Rosa (near San Francisco)

Well,
hey all. It looks as though we are not going to proceed with the 66 truck. If anyone else is interested in it give Jim a call. His # is 707-888-5996. I posted pics of the truck above. It was found on Craigslist Sacramento but the ad has since been deleted. He was asking $4500 for it, but was going to sell it for $4000.

It looks to be pretty solid. The only rust is apparently in the driver's floor.

It is a running truck.

The nose on it looks so beautiful, and still in OG paint! Love it!

The gates he has are actually not for a split, they are bay gates which are 3\" too long.

Hard to find a solid OG paint bus these days. Few dents on the passenger side but doesn't look too bad. It'd make a sweet hoodride. Also has the dual treasure chest doors.
