Hey everyone, i'm the proud owner of a new to me 1970 Westfalia and I'm starting a new club. I only have one other member so far (Geoff from Airspeed) but everyones welcome. I dont think we'll be as serious as the DVKK club or the new local one with JAmes and Shane but it'll be lots of fun.
The club will be the BANG BUS VAN CLUB in short B.B.V.C. Bruce M

i have a 79 panel, same as geoffs; so now theres more panels in the club than anything else.

We have buses too however neither of them run right now. But I'll join if I'm welcome!
The 79 is having a full engine rebuild, and my 58, well it's just sitting there sadly. I hate being a student.

:mullet: so when will this club be starting up? what will be it's goal? will it be like the dvkk and have a cap on membership and certian rules and regulations? A club needs to have all of these things. Will the club have a club house

hey thrasher, who's the artist? it looks like there is a name on the side of the garage, but i cant read it.

The artists name is George Trosley, and he DID do the CARtoons art years ago. i used to be a huge fan of that mag, and had a wicked collection. i wonder where they are...

He does a lot of art for skin mags like Hustler now a days

george trosley used to draw Krass & Bernie (crash & burn...get it..hehe). they were a couple of motor heads that lived in the loft above their garage. they were always building cool rods and cruising for chicks and checking out the drag races.

here is an episode from an old CARtoons i found of mine. typical Krass & Bern, cruisin for hotties and getting mixed up with a couple of \"womens lib\" toughies.

I loved the CARtoons mag, I still have my all VW issue.

AXIOM, Your right about it looking like Montgomery st. Take a close look at the pic, there is plenty room for your avarage 2-3 car family yet there are seven cars in the pic. One of those cars is even a 91-94 Caprice...hmmmmm makes ya think. Early beetles, Baja and a bus ,room for cars on the driveway but most are parked on the lawn?
