first, i just googled free websites & came up with freewebs.com. if anyone has any experience with freewebs (good or bad) please let me know. i wasnt looking for anything fancy, just wanted to post some stuff up.
the SMC will run again this year. i hope to do a series of races (hopefully 1 per month) and hopefully it will get some interest and some enthusiasm from people who want to give the 1/4 mile a try and have a kick ass time while doing it. remember, the more the merrier, and the more fun we can have. rules are simple, somewhat refined, and discussion about improvements is greatly appreciated...so is enthusiasm and participation. t-shirts and/or stickers may be available if the demand is there
The Official 100kmh Club is open for business. valid only to those who are eligible and who participate in the SMC, this is somewhat of an incentive to get stockers to blast the 1/4 at 100kmh or better (62.14mph
) and join a very special and unique group of enthusiasts. this is also kind of an homage and tribute to the dvkk 100mph club. hopefully some stickers will be made and those eligible participants will get to proudly display those on the windows of their \"race cars\".
both the SMC and The Official 100kmh Club are all in the name of fun. i hope it gets more people out to the track and gets more people involved in the racing scene.
