Gavin,

Makesure you hit up Florence, just off the coast of Eugene... There are some hotels in florence with ATV rentals and guided sandrail tours. If you go further down the coast there is Windchester bay Which has a nice view of the dunes/ocean but don't remember there to be very many ATV/sandrail rental places... But on your way home makesure you hit up the Tillamook Cheese Factory and get some cheese and ice cream :)

Thanx Taylor, rentals not needed... YZ250 is already loaded up with paddles. There are about 5 going so far, maybe more. Am thinking Winchester and Florence on the way home. Now just debating between camping and hotels... After all we all can't roll in 45' moho's and 24' enclosed trailers... ;)

ps - how's that black beast coming? Gonna make an appearance this summer?

Oh if rentals not needed then, Florence (honeyman state park) is nice, not sure if the H loop is open on the may long weekend but if it is you can park your rig in the campsite and drive right out onto the dunes, but if not there is a \"staging area\" you can unload and load from that is in florence.  As to windchester its my fav. and there is also a few camp grounds along with a state park ( i think its a state park) that they permit you to drive on teh shoulder of the road to the dunes....
Have a great trip Gavin!

As to the black beast, hopefully it will be out this summer, thought we were ahead of the game today but now have to redo the brakes, and just wait for a few more people to finish up some jobs on the car then we should be rolling.

Florence is gorgeous... and they let you cruise into the campsites *really* late after spending the day surfing.  :D
Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.
