Difference Between Og And Repro Bumper

I have a bumper here from a 1966 beetle and im not sure how to tell if its original or not. the chrome is bad and its got some surface rust but it may be the real thing.

Other then ofcourse finding a part number how can i tell.

I could be wrong here but I think OG ones didn't have rubber or plastic grommets where the bows connected to the blades because they fit together properly.

Thats what i was reading a while back. i dont think this one does. This one doesnt have any ruber between i dont think. ill double check.

The origional bumper would have a small VW logo stamped in the center of the blade, near the bottom edge.

ill see if i can find the logo, it looks pretty rough on the backside.
