...to alan, db, shane & jim for landing a spot on the cal-look.com top 10/20.

way to go guys. it's nice to see some familiar faces placing right up there with all the rest of them. you should all be proud of your accomplishments with your cars on and off the track. the lower mainland is staying well known in the scene for it's 1/4 terrors because of you all.

give 'er hell, i say.

I've been on the CLF top 20 since 2003. Its a brutal list because theres a lot of gutwagon, race gas drag cars in sheeps clothing claimed to be street cars. Lower on the list is the more realistic street cars. Oddly enough its not acceptable to drop a 13:1 c/r race gas drag engine in to get a timeslip (later putting in your street engine in )  and be on the that list.  Yet last year there are some real high strung c/r drag engines on that list that cannot be driven more than 15-20 minutes without overheating....street car LOL!!!!!!

I think theres a change and guys are graciously dropping out of that list since they know they own 1/4 mile strip cars. I guess the battle will always continue on the definition of \"what is a real street car\"

Even my car is on the verge because I have a tight 4th gear and to travel 60MPH on the highway I need to revving the engine to 4000rpms to keep up with traffic. I did that for two years driving to mission raceway.

That list always pushes me more and more. Pump gas is a huge limitation.

I have made it since 2004, It is a very cool thing to be up there and being Canadian.... The other Highlight for me of the Hulk was placing at the at the Clasic last year in California, A Car Jim built 6 or more years ago and still pulls a third place at the largest VW show in North America.. Makes you proud, and shows the talents of the Canadians, Jim, Lanny,Kroc,G-dog, Goeff and anyone else who had a hand in that car...
