My New Car
« on: February 18, 2007, 01:53:34 PM »
Well I got my new car last week. It's a 66 beetle pretty much stock, with a 1600cc motor and a just installed adjustable beam. I bought it off a guy on the forum (suburbiana) who was very nice, and very easy to deal with. Plans for the car include some BRMs, a bit wider tire in the rear, and maybe a stroker motor next summer. This car is my daily driver until winter so if ya see me driving give me a wave.

More pictures to come.

That was the best deal pending for a buyer. In my opinion it is smazing that it took so long. Have I had the cash it would have been gone a long time ago.

Congratulations and hope you enjoy it.

I want it back now, Tom!
Just kidding, I like the new look, saw you driving it yesterday and it made me feel good that it was getting driven as it was intended.

As a fan of VW's I'm really looking forward to seeing it around at the shows and events & being enjoyed by someone from this forum, rather than it going south of the border.

Cheers,
Craig \"no more projects ...yet.\"
