What is it and who does it? What would it cost for a header.

koolcoat just down from airspeed,can do it.
it is a high tempature coating to keep headers ect looking good (no discolouration) good to a 1000 degree's (or something like that)
you would have to phone them 604-888-8688 (off the top of my head i could be wrong though) for a price or drop by and let them see it

it also dissipates heat faster if i remember right

check with Bruce Tweddle he had a place that guarantees their work for what sounded like quite a long period.

I had the exh on my red car done by Rocket Ceramic Coat in Abbotsford.  Unlike Cool Coat, the guy at Rocket gave a warranty against rusting.

Actually I think it retains the heat inside the pipe better which keeps everything else around it cooler.
