I paid through the nose for set of points and a condensor, but when I was stuck in Abby I didn't have much choice.

Art, Vic, Rob (AVR).....took over Bow Wow in Abbotsford and remain in the same location Bow Wow was in. Can't say I have really bought much stuff from there and don't know about their prices, but I thought they were nice enough guys (we use to live in Abby). They organized some cruises from Abby out to the Great Canadian a couple of years that we know of. Gave away a buch of stuff (we won a case of oil! ^_^ ).

I have heard their price's are high, But I have not bought there. Although the customers i send from Lordco to there are very unhappy when they get back.....And from a Lordco standpoint that says alot!
Cheers

I bought my 64 beetle from those guys.  For the most part it was an ok deal, lots of niggly little detail things not done though.

I don't think I would have them build me anything.

Just my .02

81 Rabbit
90 Malibu Euro F3

They charged me $16.00 per bolt  when I bought some longer ones to install my 8 spokes years ago.  A little shocked, but didn't know where else to go at the time.  The internet was just barley going then.

I hope they are listening. A fair deal that you would give any client when you are in business will bring that client back again and again.

The fact is that airspedd as a supplier will no longer be there. If I had the $$$ to go into the business,  I am old enough to know business is about volume, turn over, and loyalties (however that is spelled.) Business is about relationships and not so about frienships. And yes there is a difference. If they start providing what is needed by our community at a fair price they could be players in the field. If they take advantage because Airspeed is no longer competing with them, the internet business will created more oportunities.

Any business needs to make a fair margin on their goods OR they won't be around long to sell you anything. Art and his brothers at AVR have always been fair to me and stocked more Hi Po stuff than Bow Wow. wayne

Yes Buny's and Bugs are excellent but they don't really have a store front.
