Auto Body Training Seminars
« on: November 18, 2006, 10:58:47 PM »
Hi,
I am thinking of starting to offer professionally taught auto body training seminars geared at the hobbyist and restoration.
I am trying to get a feel for the market before I start offering them. I am thinking to start with 2-3 day (Fri/Sat/Sun) workshops - welding, fixing dents, rust, paint...
What do you think? Is this a service you would be interested in paying for if it was available?
Thanks for your opinion.
Derek

I have thought about this before too. Good idea I think. If you want me to dig up some of my teaching materials, let me know and I can make some copies for you.

I would be interested. I would need to raise the money so an advance notice of cost and dates will be what I will be looking for.

There is a guy named Don Warren He does this at night in a high school in langley during the winter Months.  He's an old hot rodder out of the 50's. He has done this for at lest 5 years now. Being that he's 70 something years old he won't being doing it much longer. You can find info in the continueing education book that gets delievered to most peoples house.

I've worked with Don Many years a go Man he knows his Sh*t.  Plus he also does the painted on wood grain for dash boards. He showed me how many moons ago and I still can't make it look real like he could
