Ok, here's my first beetle that I built (with the help of my Brother..his is the red 71 beside mine) 1964 Sunroof, Cal look. Had a 1641 then a 1835cc that was back in 1988-89

This is what it looked like when I bought it.

This is it as I started to build the new 59

Then the new 59. It was a CDN standard, 2275cc 45 Dells cage. That was back in 1990-91

I'll look for a few others.

This was my first car, probably around 82ish . This was probably the year I bought those tires , Phoenix sthoaflex(spl?)  they were the hot slalom tire at the time. Cost about $800 , much more than I had into the whole car.
My Duaghter had to help me post this pic , hope it works.

April 1990. My first Ghia, a 1970 coupe bought the previous winter. Gorgeous midnight blue paint and OE Riviera mags. I think I put an MEI cassete deck in it (remember those?), and yes, those are tight jeans and high-tops. I had just cut my mullet off.
