great pics neil.

that ghia is owned by local asf member brian (redsnapper). very nice car that still shows well and collects awards even after being raced and driven hard for many years.

it was a pleasure to meet you too and have a chat. i hope you dont take offense to my comments in the \"straight outta coronation street\" thread. i only make fun of the english because that is 50% of my heritage, and everyone knows we've got a wicked sense of humour (fawlty towers, monty python...).  B)

No offence taken mate. I have a car buff mate in the UK that I have asked to see if he knows anything about them commer things. They were a popular sight growing up, but not seen one in years. Never seen a left hand drive one. If I get any info back I will post in that thread.

TBH Bruce tried to have a joke that I blatently didn't get about Brits drinking beer that is to cold or to warm not sure which, I only drink Guinness anyway! (which incidently is shite over here)

The guy that owns the Trekker is a regular at the local shows.  There wan't much difficulty bringing it over, the real trouble was the excessive amount of rust it had that the PO didn't disclose.

Given some time, you will begin to appreciate cold beer.  Especially on hot days like last Sunday.
