Talking to some VW buddies the other day at our local VW garage, Gary angell racing and was interested to hear of a van that had come thier way, Sorry no pics, the van a 70 something Westfalia started it's life in Crazy Hun land (Germany ) and was driven to Ireland at some stage in the late 70's early eighties and was kept on this farm in a barn, until recently where after the person who had bought, bought it and then somehow made it,s way to England. The bus is just sweet, it has not been messed with at all, it even had the original stool covered in green Westfalia check material, wow thats rare!!!. The underside is well rust free to say the least, the rubbers are knackered and it needs some TLC but after it has made it's way to the paint barn I'd say they will make a tidy fortune for themselves, most barn finds in Great Britain tend to be rusted through or at least major repair is required, but this was so sweet I thought I would share it with you guys.
