Its not rocket science.... ;) ........turn off you main water tap ( sometimes there is one inside the wall of the outside tap )....And change the thing yourself. Done this myself. Not a big deal........if its soldered on bigger deal but then just change the washers in the tap...also an easy job...........just turning the washer over in many cases will stop the valve from leaking. Home depot has every thing you could need .

I just did this myself not long ago. Here's a how to link: http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/print/0,17...,480863,00.html
Head over to your local Home Depot etc. and pickup the parts. Probably cheaper to do it yourself than calling a plumber.

outside along the side of the house. Slow leak but sounds like it is RUNNING from inside the house. Mr. FS has tried to tighten it with his super human strength but it still leaks. I am afraid he is going to break something soon :P

Seems like with frost getting serious in the near future we better figure this out.

Are you still interested? If it is beyond what you are interested in let me know, Mr FS is not really too keen on it himself but thats why we are having this conversation in the first place I supose
