My Dream Car
« on: March 30, 2007, 08:17:45 PM »
I bought this car from Jeff Lovell down in Oregon, it was built as a drag car with lotsa light weight goodies like carbon fiber hood, CCC fiberglass w convert lid, lexan windows, cool aluminum mini keg gasser style gas tank etc, etc. It has a RLR (I believe) bolt in chromo cage, full MSD ignitionwith 2 step, 1/4 mile drag trans  2X, original empi GT steering wheel, Erco's, M H slicks, Autometer gauges, lightweight seats berg shifter and on and on.

here's some pics of it after a quick wash:

And my new crew chief all straped into the 5 point:D

I'll snap some pics of the motor bits tomorrow

later josh

love the car, looks just amazing. great color, whats it called?

only thing id change on it is find a way to hide the huge tach but thats a personal taste thing more than a flaw.

I got a steel hood painted to match but its an early 60's one also came with the orig W lid painted.
Thinking about selling the carbon fiber hood.

I have torn the motor down to take a little peek inside and clean/re-seal things up. There are some nice goodies in this thing.

Welded 84mm DMS full circle crank wedgematedScat H beams w 3/8 bolts
94mm wiesco true forged slipper skirt pistons
fk-46 I think
CE straight cuts
CB comp eliminator's with some serious work done by AJ
pauter roller rockers (very cool pieces)
jaycee 51.5 IDA's worked over by ACE
the mag case has the lifter bores sleeved

pics of the damage

I took all the electronics out to re-do the wiring to them, lots of splice connectors used for the msd, gonna solder it all
