Thinking Of Going To Calgary
« on: July 29, 2006, 10:59:34 AM »
i am thinking of going to calgary for das volks and would have to tow the beetle down there. the only truck rental places that allow their trucks to tow are uhaul and canadian rentals. they both have a per/km charge aswell as rental charge, then there is still the fuel costs. just wondering if anyone knows of a rental company that is more reasonable than those? it would be between $750-1000 alone for the km charges.
if anyone has any other ideas on how to get my car there without driving it, let me know.
thanks.
james

Drive it down to Annacis Island and put it on a train.

Why do it once when you can do it thrice?
