I'll try to make it, hopefully in the bug, but it seems I opened up a can of woop ass on my self when I noticed a bit of drag on my rear right wheel.
Simple little adjustment of the star and off to the races, NOT  :o .
Stars siezed, no worries right just undue this small 36mm nut for a little looksy right. NOT  :o !  As I picked my left one of the garage floor it came to me like a flash of light 200 plus ft pounds !!

Thankfully Reefreshd_jive  comes to the rescue with the torque buddy or equalizer or whatever its called and bamm the drums off. All good right, NOT :o . Stars and screws siezed into the backing plate, lets just say we had a weee bit of a rust issue.

So tonight I think I'll see if a little heat will get the adjusters out and if not I will be looking for some new backing plates and the works. Or I'll just slap her back together put some big fluffy pillows on the front and rear and see you guys at the Hut.  :P

Anybody got any nice German backing plates ?

Great time guys.  Definitely a trip worth making.  Tonnes of nice old cars both domestic and VW.  I did notice there was only two imports (that I saw, both Datsun 260Z's).  Gotta love it.  Thanks Brian for the ride back to James' place.
Great end to the night ridin' in style in a ghia 'vert.  Nice flames James.......  gotta love a wastegate at night.
