Timming Gun
« on: March 19, 2006, 05:07:56 PM »

I have always done the static timming fron TDC. I read some where That I should use a timming gun and specially if I switch to 009 (have not)

My question is Where do the cables plug to pos+, nrg=, and the funny one?

+ goes to a battery source such as your alt + post. Neg goes to a ground point and the funny one goes on #1 spark plug lead

if timing a 009, you have to set the tottal advance, not at idle.
