The front end is worth the same as a beetle cause it's identical. It's the spindles and front brakes that are different. As for the going rate I would do a search on the Samba to get a general idea what the brakes are selling for.

I picked up a set off spindles, calipers and rotors used off a 68' gia for about $100 cdn.
