i wanted to try polycarbonite windows just for the reason to test it myself and see how durable it is.so far not bad,i had scraped one of the rear quarters when removing my rear seat .but i nailed it good with a sharp mounting bracket.damage is almost nil and there is a special cleaner/polish that when applied it is almost impossible to see.on the protective covering/wrap there is a list of thing to clean it with that wont damage it.but i have used .gas/brake clean/thinners /etc on some scrap pieces with no effect on it.also it does take alot of effort to mark.a blow with a hammer has little/no effect.plus if you are in a gun fight it will stop a .22 bullet.when i wash the car i don't wash the windows at all , after the car is washed i just wipe with windex.in a nut shell for my aplication its fine but for a everday driver id go with safety glass
