Help
« on: May 24, 2005, 01:01:39 PM »
Okay here goes, I bought some new chrome light surronds for my bus and went to fit them as the old ones were badly pitted, I remove the light unit and replace the new chrome surrond and take my time putting it back together properly, I go to fit it and there is just one retaining screw that screws into a hole that is welded on the inside of the light caseing, but when screwed in it is pulling the other side out which leaves a gap of about 1 inch which is no good for obvious reasons.

My question, is there something that is suppose to be behind the lamp in the bowl shaped caseing to support the front part to stop it moving about so much.

Sorry in advance for not very good description, hope somebody can give me some advice,  :(

Directly across from the retaining screw (at 9 oclock on the right side of the bus and 3 oclock on the left side) there should be a lip on the headlight bucket on the body. Hook the trim ring onto that lip first then install the screw.
