For Sale James Bond Collectable
« on: October 12, 2004, 12:41:50 AM »
Hey guys and gals not even car related but I'll try. If any of you guys are Bond nuts I've got the real Walther P-99 hand gun used in Tomorrow never dies it was made by Walther specialy for the movie with some inscriptions on it and for safety reasons is only capable of firing blanks like a stater pistol. To my understanding this is the only one ever made and hasn't been used since the movie was finished. I used it for display in a James Bond theme car that I built. I will only sell this unit to a responsible collector with a good understanding and respect for safety and keep it out of harms way, after all, all hand guns real or not have the potential for injury. I am asking $2000 or closest offer pm me for more details.Phil

Interesting.... Any connection to:
I remember waaay back when I was a little person my family would drive by 'Frank Bakers Resturant' at the foot of Taylor Way in N.V.,   Outside in a glass case was a gold Aston Martin--Goldfinger 007.( Your birthdate indicates, you could have only had a connection from an adult, cause I was about 10 --1970)
 -_-

Good old Frank Bakers, I used to stare thru that glass window and dream someday I could have that car :(  (FAT CHANCE!) but at least they had the firetruck outside to climb on

Also there was a Olds Tornado or something like that on display? Anyone else remember?

Nope this isn't the gold member one but that definitely would also be a nice collectable. The restaraunt was long before my time I never knew of it and I've been in N.V. all my life
