Understanding Wifes
« on: September 06, 2004, 08:50:35 AM »
Well l was polising and painting my winter mags for the jetta and covering my wifes hairdyer in gloss black paint , come on now we have all used the hair dryer in auto restorations   It occured we should make a list for newbies of non acceptable uses of our wifes stuff in working on our cars . Just last week I was again reminded no cleaning carburaters in the kitchen sink , no stealing easy off oven cleaner for paint stripping , no painting on the driveway without dropsheet ,or in house .No oh and hiding new vehicles bought on credit at friends houses and storing of engine or trannys in living room .
NOW LETS HEAR OF SOME OTHER PROBLEMS YOUR WIFES MAY HAVE HAD WITH YOUR CAR HOBBIE
THE DOG HOUSE IS FOR THE DOG AND N.O.S vw parts not the owner of them  :D

Here's one for the old learning curve. I can remember being in supreme crap from mom, girfriends, wife for doing car repairs trouble is I don't remember exactly what it is that I did. Guess it wasn't that bad then huh???  Remember.......you're only in trouble if you acknowledge it ;)

i guess i'm one of the lucky ones. my girl totally supports my vw addiction 100%.

a set of fuchs in our livingroom, gene berg carb linkage under the coffee table, boxes of parts by the front door. not to mention the stacks of vw mags and manuals everywhere.

i put up with her shit, she puts up with mine. ;)

I actually have the better half of a Type 3 Ghia in my basement.  My wife rocks.  She did push me to take care of the collection of vehicles in the backyard though......  Keep an eye our for my thread.  Pictures of the work in progress.....

Sometimes I get the feeling the whole world is against me, but deep down I know that's not true. Some smaller countries are neutral.
