Why do it once when you can do it thrice?

head over too the hoosier daddy's house ,he's got a pile of cars and parts.borrow some rear seats ,shake out the spiders ,clip them in and go racing.that way if your car breaks you also have a place too sleep.
i know coming up with rules/ideas is hard and can't please everone, but it is a STREET shoot out.
lights/seats frt & rear/pump gas/street tires have too be in there.
the idea sounds like a good overall time to be had by all, just think of all the things not being brought up under rules ?????????

i have to disagree w/ the seat thing, jim.

it just doesnt seem to \"street\" to me. one must consider 2 seater buggies and rails. (hopefully there are a few) i know that there is usually no back seat in a buggy or rail, but then if they dont run them, will the sedan owners bitch about the fact that they need them. again it's the whole \"street vw\" clause. if it can be legally insured, it should be able to run. lights and tires and other aspects of safety, like bumpers, brakes, windshields, etc, of course are needed to insure a vehicle, but if if's gutted or full interior doesnt seem to matter.

to many little rules will screw this up. i'm still campaigning the stroked and unstroked classes, valid and current icbc insured, drive it from airspeed to the track, all fill up together rules.

just my $.02

As well as what Silas says, you have to bring a valid current Aircare report for the engine you are running.

 I'll have you all beat!!!

Just so everyone knows the deal, this is just a fun event and if there are too many rules it will just eliminate more people. I dont run a back seat either but i drive my oval thru the summer every day! If everyone wants us to run a back seat i have no problem with that....I'll strap it to the roofrack.
The dates for this will most likely fall on a Friday night as ther isn't much in the way of reg sat sunday openings. I'll look into whats available.

The only rules are going to be.... Pump gas (no additives), valid insurance working lights front and rear (we are driving on the street) after that you can do what you like.
I'm bringing my car just as it is, the way it's driven on the street and that includes slicks.
My saying
\"If it's got plates and u drive it, it's a street car ...until you get cought\"

Now, get back to working on those cars.... looks like Mid May could be the date May 21 or 28th Friday night:o

It should be called \"run what ya brung\". Weight doesnt matter it all good fun anyways. Theres no cash or trophies so lets keep the rules to a minimum, that way its fun for all. There are bragging rights though!

pump gas only !!!!! thats it , there goes the timing.
now i understand the hardest part is the drive from airspeed to mission raceway.if you can make it too the track in your car without having your car impounded by the police you can race it!!!!!
sounds like street racing goes legal at mission for a night.
should be  a fun night ,cruise there/race/cruise home
