They don't call it Hollywood north for nothing!!!

The local scene is pretty good - couple good summer shows, lots of cruises and meets....

hey bus maniac, good to see you aboard.

where abouts in vancouver do you plan on living? just curious, thats all.

the scene here is great and growing as we speak. this forum is a great place to find out what everyone is up to and where all the fun is at. also, visit airspeed when you have a chance and introduce yourself to the boys out there. street legal drags at mission raceway usually attract alot of acvw's. the dglvk have a great vw weekend coming up shortly. the shows in puyallup and seattle are close, aswell. and there is also the great canadian vw show/weekend in august. airspeed plans on having swap meets throughout the summer and some cruises are usually planned. the java joint in surrey has a meet every once and awhile.

also, check out the sites in james' sig above.

as you can see, there is alot to do and alot of great people to meet.

see you soon. ;)

Not sure where we are going to settle yet, we are planning a project trip in April to check out places, schools etc, also I have a job interview in vancouver while we are there so we will wait and see but we want to get out there asap. My brother in law lives in san jose so eventually would like to bring buses up from there have them fixed up and sell them in B.C., well thats the plan anyway. Will miss the scene in U.K. as it is wild always loads going on and you only have to travel 2-3 hrs to find  a show, but  the more I find out the scene in Canada sounds very cool. Are there many splits for sale that you know of or is it mainly type 2,s. The bus I have now is a 71 type 2 devon moonraker early bay, been resprayed in its original orange and white and I am just finishing the exterior and will now concentrate on the interior but probably wont finish it before we move, bummer. Would like to add photo any idea of how I do it?? well thats all for now speak to you soon.
