anyone thinking of going to check this out?

i'm thinking of going on sunday (depending on the weather) to hopefully get the eyeballs rattled out of my head.

no doubt, went to pomona nhra finals last year.......4.34 1/4's now that's cool to see! walking through the pits crying and so loud it hurt

i wont feel so bad if i miss this weekend...especially if emilio is going to be there with nothing but a cane and a military hat.

:lol: Haven't been for 10 years but I remember as soon as a nitro car would fire up in the pits , a crowd would quickly gather and one by one , those at the front would come stumbling back through the crowd , one hand over an ear and one hand wiping their eyes , blinded by nitromethane . And if they open the throttle at all , it is almost enough to knock you off your feet.

I was watching the webcams today and saw an oval window bug running. Anybody have any info??

I was there on sat ,269mph is still very cool!!

there was some injected nitro cars too. it was a silver bug with a v8 in the front.

Apparently the oval window was that V8 powered one. I heard he went to the quarter finals. There is an import race coming in mid August that Terry Hoogstins says he plans to attend. Sure would be good if a few others would \"represent\" and show up as well. Wayne
