I think I am in the market for a new motor for the bus.  I'm looking for a GOOD 1500cc s/p long block or a GOOD 1600cc d/p complete. I dont want a rebuildable one, I have that.  I do have a 1641cc (Type 3 case) rebuilt long block I can trade. thanks.

Unfortunatly for me......Shane sold it already. It hasn't died yet just dieing. I'm gonna put a larger oil pump in right now and hope it bandaids my problem for a little while.

CHEERS MATT.

I SAW IT, AND WITHOUT REALLY THINKING MORE ABOUT THE LOCATION, SENT IT TO YOU.

Well it looks as though plans are making a complete u-turn! I'm gonna put the mild 1776 that was destined for the notch into the bus, which means I wont have a motor for the notch so I guess its time to \"play\". If all goes according to my new plans (translated: if I can really afford it) I will be building a stroker over the winter. kinda excited!

According to Brian you don't need a forged one, go cast aluminum - way lighter and will spin faster    It's what's in his engine....

Maybe I'll get a set of those lightweight balsa wood wheels while I'm at it.
