i have a 1600 longblock i just pulled, out of my car, been sitting in the rain for a couple of days  cheap cheap cheap,  taking offers

yes it runs , just forgot to cover it for a couple of days, i just wanted a new one in my car

Is your motor from your 72 type3? Will it fit a 64 bug? I could come by and see it if not too much trouble.

first 125$ takes, have an oil cooler for it and shroud, header and some other parts, not sure how many miles, this engine is an upright bug

What do you mean upright? Is that like a bug engine (do not mean to sound stupid, so I ask the question.)

yes, an upright engine is one like in a beetle (type 1).  the other kind in a pancake and they are the type 4 found in vans, with the duct work for cooling kinda fattened.  He y and don't worry about sounding stupid we all have to learn, right?
