Anyone Building A Nice Street Car For Next Season?
« on: October 10, 2003, 09:28:45 AM »
hey,

I'm just wondering who or if anyone is building a nice fast street car for next year?  What will you have done to it?

I'm in germany right now and I won't be back till april.  Just wondering what will be happening during this winter and I'm interested to hear what other people will be tinkering on in the next few months!

I'm building one, nothing to extreme though it's a 1966 beetle with close box and a high CR 1915, IDA's etc.
Have you checked the customer project forum, that's where all the cars are.

I checked the project forum, but I know there are more cars out there that people maybe don't have pictures of.

hey my car weighed 2050 with me in it when we raced,  all I took out was the passenger seat,  rear seat and spare tire.  I want to add a roll bar so add that too.

All my motor would have to put out is 220 hp and with turbo/ heads/cam should be able to be close, I may come in between 12.8-13.3  if its faster than that I will be very surprised, as I don't expect much more power than 220 maybe 230  as I will only run 14 pounds max.  Ohya I will have to granny shift as my ssc tranny is stock.  ok maybe a 13.6 then.
