Fuel Air Mixture
« on: October 13, 2004, 02:12:55 PM »
Just wondering how hard it is to adjust my fuel air mixture. I'm running really rich. I have a general idea of how to do it as I've helped friends, but just want to make sure. I'm running a stock carb on my 1800cc.
Thanks for any help.

Two adjusting screws on drivers side of carb. One big , one small one.  Big one is for for idle speed only.  Small one is fuel mixture , with motor warm and choke off turn it (small one)in untill the idle starts to drop off a little . Turn it back out 3/4  or 1 turn . Less if you want to pass aircare .  Set idle speed(big one)
