Just a little some thing to pass the time
« on: May 05, 2011, 09:39:00 PM »
Most of you already know this project. I don't know the actual year of the shell. My guess is between 65 to 67. I believe the roof came from a 69 or 70 chop top. Then derek also put in the rear oval when he put the roof on. His vision was an open wheel project.

But I'm gonna change it back to a full fendered car. I'll do my best to post pic's of my progress. I'm already lacking in that department cuz I finished up the interior welding in the back and  the d/s rear quarter on the outside. Just have some holes to weld up on the dash and the interior welding is complete. Here is a picture or 2 from today . I have a front clip from a 68 trimmed and screwed into place

Why yes it is , sure glad no one bought it a the last few times I tried to sell it. This whole project will be built from one very krusty 68 and a whole pile of left overs . All on that pan I got from hans at the last swap.

That's too funny because that's the pan off the same car as the fender an hood! Their reunited!

actually no... the original hood and fender were crunched. Those pieces went on with a new pan. I miss that car.
