Fs 72 Super Beetle
« on: March 13, 2004, 05:48:39 PM »

Well it is time to sell the super, Its titan metalic grey, under the hood and trunk its still green tho, very little rust, just on surface, front fender was hit, but i punched out the dent and it needs very little body work, and  paint, floor pan is excellent, nice wheels, very good stereo, motor rebuilt about 12,000 miles ago, but it does leak oil not that much tho, new interior, hurst shifter, header and dual quiet packs, lowered with adjustable struts just put in recently come with it, i have a gas heater, a rear bumper and hubcaps, the tires are new and the heater works well (the one running off the motor)

I'm asking $3800 for it firm, needs little work to be complete, call my cell, (604)-790-0856  ,Tom

Sorry to hear about your loss. Does it look repairable?? Send me some pics.....perhaps me and my class can fix it for you. Just pay for parts we'll donate the time. Is that a possibility?? We have put out some nice work. Let me know

Try and get pics of the door gaps, maybe take the front fender off and take a pic of the inner. If it is bad does someone have an inner he can cut out??? Take a pic of the inside of the hood and around the windshield too. Don't forget....parts may be found used and labour is the expensive part. It may look worse than it is.

Wow the aircooled community sure is a big help, thanks guys for the offers and such. I think i have a new plan of action, i might buy an other super beetle, a 72 thats in rough shape and use my good parts to make a good one out of it, i have to see if my parents are ok with me having two bugs on the driveway first, i will keep you guys posted, and that extra chrome wheel sounds good stevo32, i dont think i'lll need the door tho, thanx guys for all your help, i greatly appreciate it.
