That was a great event... kudos to the DGLVK organizers and all their hard work.  I couldn't think of a better venue to debut the Vert.
Hats off to Jason (Slammedbus) for the his paintjob and winning "Best Paint".  Truly amazing work!  Also special thanks to Brian (Redsnapper) for the incredible interior and convertible top.  You Guys Rock

Way to go DGLVK ..Thanks!

Fantastic show dglvk.  Congrats to all that won and all that braved the early morning weather to come out and support.  Well worth the drive from Salmon Arm.  Heading home tomorrow morning bright and early.  Till then I'll be helping Slammedbus empty what's left of beverage from a certain Coca-Cola Cooler.

Thanks to all the people who set the event up including the sponsors, you all did a great job.
It was great meeting and talking to a few more people and seeing some sweet rides.

My kids enjoyed painting the bunny and had a great time. My youngest daughter was blown away when she won the big basket of goodies for her guess in the jellybean contest. Last year at the GCVW show she was a little disapointed she didn't get anything in the t-shirt toss etc. so this was her year! Oh ya thanks (I think to James?) for making my little girl feel special by giving her a prize for having a sprained wrist, she gave me the coffee mug ;]

Cheers and see y'all soon.

"FREE HUGS"

Thanks to the DGLVK for a great show.  Definitely worth the drive up.  450miles round trip and STILL didnt win Furthest Driven.  At least he and I share the same name.. Congrats Quinton.

Congrats to all the winners, and to the voters, even ones that voted for the Kermit/Kawasaki Green Bucket of Yuck.

Shane & Amanda, thanks for making it possible for us to come up.  You're sweet.  I like you.  Wurd.

Sorry no valve cover racers this year, weather certainly was not our friend.

The DGLVK would like to thank everyone that came out and supported our event from the cruise to the show, despite the rain it was still a success.

Those who did not make it out missed out on the new vendor setups, the prizes, some killer swap meet deals and James wearing a cowboy hat! (what is with that anyway?)

I have some great deals on shirts as well, we have a lot of shirts leftover and will be parting with them.

Sizes from Youth Large to XXX Large. PM me for Details.

$16 plus you get a free rootbeer lollipop and a coupon for a Root Beer Float courtesy of A&W in Newton (7330 King George Hwy) While Supplies Last.

Speaking of A&W for those that will not make it to Victoria next weekend for VVWC's Volkfest you can head to A&W in Newton for a Show & Shine on July 8th. Its in support of Parkinsons Research. $15 to register, they have dash plaques and prizes galore! Pre registration is recommended. Call 604-307-4565 or email awcarshow@shaw.ca for more details.
