hey, my car has those one piece windows. i want to go back to the original. would it be possible to buy a window kit or something and do it, or do i have to get a new set of doors and paint em?

Probably easier to replace the doors,you would have to find /fabricate the vent window piece that was cut out to install the one piece set,and find a good set of vent window assemblies as well.

IMO, even if you were trying to save some fairly rare pre-55 doors, it is still not worth it.  Rick's car had doors that were cut for 1 pc windows, then the window channels welded back in.  Getting the windows to fit right took a LOT of hours.  
Get some doors that have not been castrated.  What year are we talking about?

yea its a 67. ok, so i will try to get some new doors then, get em painted. anyone know a good paint shop? this is my first vw,dont know too many shops
