Hey guys, The Victoria Volkswagen Clubs 'Volksfest 2012' Will be held on Sunday July 8th 2012 at Gyro park so mark it on your Calendar! I will post more info on the rest of the weekends events as they are comfirmed. Hope a bunch of you guys can make it over again!

The DVKK just had a meeting and we plan to be there! Had a great time last year and looking forward to 2012.

bump for a bitchin' show and a super fun weekend hosted by the cool folks in the vvwc!!!

great design for the posters & shirts!!! good job on that one!!

i'll second the accent inn (host hotel) as a good place to stay. might be a tad more $$ than a few other local hotels, but we have stayed there for the last 3 years and it's clean, the staff is friendly, lots of parking, there is a restaurant right next door, and it's centrally located!!

allright...i'm in!!

i'm flying solo cause my better half (lori) is under the weather (she's super bummed she'll miss the volksfest-ivities...one of her favourite vw show weekends). it's pretty last minute so i'm not sure about accommodations, so if anyone has an extra bed/cot/couch/floor that they dont mind a skinny white dude sleeping on, let me know. if not, no worries, i'll figure it out!!

the parking lot we slept in one time, is now a land rover dealer, i kinda felt sad about that

found an abandoned 80's chev van under the bridge down by the river by the rail yards...and i'm picking up some wicked wifi signal off the coathanger sculpture depicting the battle of gettysburg that my neighbour friend made! stoked!

great day today, lots of mainlanders (reyda's, dvkk, zündfolge car club, strictly german) out for the pancake breakfast and cruise, the host hotel patio party was fun as always and the islanders are treating us very well!

big show tomorrow!!!
