OK here is the Thing....
1) we need a name (every good show needs a name)
2)we need a couple more bands ( Gary is in, and will be the headliner)

Ok so Manda and I have talked and here is what we are thinking, Car show and Music fest at PBI Ranch...
We could do a BYOM?B Bar B Q???
Or we could just open the gates and have a good Ole time???
I want to pay the Bands so I am thinking Ticket sales....

Feedback everyone , Let me hear what you want for a Show
I am thinking in July

shane, first off....great idea. you and amanda are always very gracious hosts and your pad is such a great place for a show like this. i love the idea. cars, bbq & music on a warm summers eve....who could ask for anything more?

Quote
1) we need a name (every good show needs a name)
"cowboy constants gears, beers, and ringing ears summertime round-up."

or if you dont want beers in the name, replace the word beers with steers (as in bbq).

or if you dont like "cowboy constant", go with "buddha boys....".

Quote
2)we need a couple more bands ( Gary is in, and will be the headliner)

my little brothers band might be into something like this. for a sample, check out...

you could have an open grill where people bring & grill their own....or you could include the cost of a burger, chips & pop in the ticket price for entry, or maybe find a mobile food vendor that wants to make a few bucks.

i honestly dont mind paying extra for food or bringing my own.

anywhere between $10 & $20 seems fair to me. the cost will reflect the number of bands playing, food, etc.

good job & good luck.

My friend's band might be interested. HellGTI used to play with them. There pretty good. Not as good without that Jack drinkin, axe swingin, tattoed maniac of a guitarist they used to have but they are pretty good. PM me if you want a contact number.

I can assume this is an everything car show and not a volkswagen show, cause didn't state bug show in the begining. If thats the case Tracy's 64 econoline falcon should be on the road by then. It will be far from mint tho.

Sounds like a great idea Shane. Just check the dates in July as I think the Victoria show and maybe Vintage weekend will fall in that month.

what type of bands are you wanting?
i have a bunch of friends in bands that range from rockabilly/psychobilly to screamo, to sit and play your guitar and pretty much everything in between.
let me know if you're interested
