Mine had expired as well.

I was going to pick it up, and see if anybody else needed one.

Hey, wetdream or screanmdream. . . . no I mean Screamnstroker !! does the ATV store across the bridge sell them there??

I thought only at the motor vehicle place?

I just found a ATV permit vendor list that was in the Motorhome. The following sells the OHV permits in Florence:

-The sportsman (This is the one before the bridge)
-Florence Costal Hardware
-Florence Polaris
-Florence Yamaha Inc

Can't wait to rip up the dunes :D

I think you should take it out on the beach and just get it up to about 6 grand and dump that clutch, wheels should lift or I will be pulling you back to camp  .

Yes , there's nothing a tranny loves more than trying harder and harder and harder to pull the wheels ;)

Is that a 10 tooth or 9 in there now?

Might be a 2 tooth soon  , Kidding, I hope everyone runs out great and we enjoy the evenings drinking and not wrenching...  ;)
We should pool our tools together so we don't all have to bring down multiples of the same stuff....

  your funny Shane. If you did have to pull us back your just returning the favor :P .That Poor 1835 has been through some tough times...  :(  I think I'll let dad get it up to 6 grand then dump the clutch(Dads pro at this kind of driving and this way its not me breaking it), you will be able to hear that poor fan belt squeel from camp (its the engines way of saying SHIFT SHIFT!!!) I'm going to tend to be easy on it this trip as i dont want to crack another tranny case [_[

And Hans its that super diff that has all those marks up on it from a prior break. But who knows its that 30$ close ratio tranny and I took it apart and re-assembled it so who knows how long it will last

Well I think we might be coming down to Florence from Tuesday to Saturday the 27th.
I'm just waiting to see if my holiday's get approved. I've started to build the tranny and get the motor ready and I still need to put a new fuel system in it.
I just hope by the 4th day there is at least 1 buggy left running that can tow me outta the dunes. {Gary} ;)
No more side stepping for this guy!  I might bring a spare tranny this time.

When is everyone else staying till?

Chris,
I belive we are leaving on the monday the 28th... Thankfully this year I have 2 weeks for spring break so it would just be my sister missing school. Glad to hear you might be comming down... Should be a blast! Don't worry Gary will be running to pull you in, hes got that fresh 1915 with high compression, he shouldn't have as much as a trouble as last time :P Lots of people comming down&lots of toys. So

Hey Taylor, there's no such thing as an unbreakable tranny.
Actually I blew the reverse in the race car trying to get un tangled from another car last year, so I'm just putting in a new reverse in and new bearings.
I'm switching tranny's from the race car to the sand car, It has lower gear ratio's in it.
