Carcentric, Aka Doc Nugent
« on: August 12, 2006, 09:23:17 AM »
Just visiting (from 12 miles SE of Seattle), but thought it proper to introduce myself.

My main project currently is known as Lightnin', the SuperPhaeton.  It started life as a '74 SuperBeetle, but it's slated for a few minor changes:
- '80 Triumph Spitfire front suspension, rack/pinion steering, and disc brakes
- '56 MG Magnette ZA hood/bonnet
- Bustle trunk reminiscent of a Ford Pop (Anglia) made from a '56 Ford F-100 pickup hood
- Topless and fenderless, of course, and with the rear seat moved back between the rear tires.

Details of that and my other projects ('50 Morris Minor, '72 MBenz 350SL 5.6, and '79 Honda CX500 trike) can be enjoyed at http://www.carcentric.com
