time to get stoked on the upcoming show season!

mark this one on your calendars for sure as it's a must attend event! always a great weekend partying with the islanders and the show on sunday is killer...always a great turnout in a spectacular venue!!

good question jeremy!

i hadnt heard anything about accommodations so i called the accent inn on maple st (the usual host hotel) and they have 1 room available for the 13th (a large expensive "suite").

ideally, if there is a group of us going over it's always nice to stay in the same hotel (party in jags room

), so i posted up on the vvwc asking those folks for some recommendations!

if anyone here has any ideas/info, post 'em up. clean & safe to park our cars is important. reasonably priced is good. close to the action is good too!

not too worried as i know we'll all figure it out regardless!!

I agree Silas. It would be good to all stay at the same hotel so we could party in Jags room.

If we are lucky maybe Jaga will offer up some late night BJ's. Hot dogs that is.

so for those looking for rooms i would suggest calling the comfort inn asap and talking to someone there to at least reserve/put your name down for a room and then deal with greg (sales manager at the comfort inn) and the group rate discounts later/first thing monday! (or get ahold of greg from the vvwc site for help/info)!

i just talked to greg mcewan (sales manager at the comfort inn 250-382-4400) and he's very friendly & helpfull and he says it's filling up fast so make the call and get your rooms!!

request to talk to him directly or at least talk to the front desk and reserve your room and deal with the discount later (mention the victoria volkswagen club group rate, they may or may not be able to apply it right away)!!

for anyone heading over early saturday morning that wants to convoy...

meet at the mcdonalds on 56st in tsawassen at 6am, we'll leave at 615am and head to get on the 7am ferry to victoria!
