will this release bearing ??
match up with this pressure plate ??
the reason I am asking is that my old swing axle trans had the old release bearing
and How do you remove the weather stripping from the door jamb without wrecking it ??

Don't know about the bearing, but if you take a putty knife and jam it between the pillar and the weather strip you can bend the tabs that hold it in towards the inside of the car ,you should be able to get 'er out..

As for the bearing, I'm pretty sure that collared input shafts like the one you have don't use the mating surface (the centre ring in the pressure plate). At least that is the way it worked with the older types of kennedy's

Rob is right. The trans is 71 and later, your clutch is 70 and older. To use that pressure plate, take it off and remove the center ring thing. There should be some kind of sheet metal clip holding it in place.
