yes it is gary and sandys old car is safe and sound and i know hans does alot for everone in the VW community i think we should  all get together and put that thing together the way it is!    patina is in!

From what I remember the paint isn't to bad not much Patina, He's got trannies, And prob a motor or two int the shed, I think he's got 99% of the bits and pieces just some TLC on some floor pans needed

By the way I don't think this is hijacking this thread as I have sighted it in his garage

Saw a black Ghia last night in Maple Ridge with a permit on it. Looked pretty clean, a bit low, nice! Who was that??

This panel in White Rock:

And for the Bay types: in Vancouver close to the Seaforth Armoury, I spyed this Bay body that had been grafted to a trailer. If you look closely you can see where the wheel wells have been covered up with something like stainless steel:

Looks like it.

The website is hilariously bad and hideous. What a way to promote a beer: make certain that all who participate look like morons?

It was a comment on the impression the website gives. No offence meant to individuals  ;)

I got really scared there, I hope it isn't that bus! I saw it last year going up to Tofino, we cheersed them with our own pilsners. Not me though...I was driving...

I got a patch of that bus too! I believe it says 1979-2009..so does that mean its gone??  :'(
Can you tell I like pilsner? MmMmMMmmMmmM

Red Super Beetle (curved windshield) with a bra and an "N" in the back window heading east on 88th at 208th.  Two young girls in it.  The car and the girls were in good shape!   ;D

I spotted 2 guys in a buggy at 216th and Glover @ 1530 in Langley yesterday.  5 minutes after that, 'spotted a dude in a late model white Beetle (not mine, although I was driving mine) at 208th & 88th.  There's lots of VW's in the Langley area!   ;D

A couple of days ago I saw a red buggy, and a tan early Type 1 at 88th and 208th in Langley at different times.  I drive this route to work, and it seems to be where I see TONS of air cooled VW's!  I honked and waved at the dude in the Beetle, and he waved back.  Lucky me!  No, I didn't get his number...   lol_hitting
