Just saying hi and stuff, since that is what it said I should do. Own a '58 Single Cab, with lots of work to go.
Live up near Seattle, across the water in Bremerton.

Couple pics...

Franklin's VW Werks made the emblem

$40 raw or $65 I think it was for powdercoated. I have a black one as well, just have not put it on yet...too freakin' cold outside, I think I would shatter if I tried before it warms up, heh.

In the last couple weeks, as well as every month, I have people try to buy it from me. Last person was a 2004 Civic EX 4door wanted to do a straight trade, I said no. I figure if the offer is less than $10 million, I won't sell it. Anyone wants to buy for that, I will consider it.  :D

Yes they are Centerlines, 15x6.5\" and running on 195/50/15 Falken Ziex 502's

Not the best pic since I had 2 yards of Barkdust in the back but it made it lower so I did not mind too much, heh.

They will be for sale...the rims, all 5 of them, in 6 months or so (I can deliver within reason) with tires (the spare has a Pirelli P7000 195/50/ZR15 in great shape on it) for about $1000 after I get them repolished to show condition...just in case anyone might be interested in the coming months. Putting a new under half into the truck and 17s for rims and tires.

Mind you, this is all kinda hard without a job, not many people are interested in ink on the arms and holes in the ears...

Only a piercer, been doing it for about 8 years now.

Have a friend that is a great tattoo artist, can always pass him on if wanted, though is in Oregon.

If this is about the design down the side, I got bored one day and 4 days later finished the right side and just copied it over to the left side. All pencil'd on and then masked and painted with BBQ black paint.

Well, if I see any DC's for sale, I will be sure to pass it on.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys/gals (can't tell gender on here so I just won't be prejudiced), more welcome than I have gotten elsewhere, and more interest too.

Nice ride.  I have a '59 double cab.  Can't wait to get it on the road.  Love the Centerlines too.  OUTKAST you'd better get on that.  5 more would go well with what you have.  Can't ever have too many spares.

Pointblank, sorry about that. Franklin's site tends to get boring so I was just making some fun, sorry for that.

As for selling the SC, as I stated earlier, first $10,000,000 USD takes it.

rusty, hehe, I will take it, but the agreement on that part would be that I would be able to drive it while I was waiting til payment was in full. Kind of like layaway with a little bit of a twist to it. If you want to do it, I won't stop you  :D

I think I should have posted some of the mods on the truck too...kinda did not mention that...in the case anyone might be interested...and those wanting to buy it, hehe.

Autometer Cobalt Tach
Scat later bus T-handle shifter (whole assy)
Centerline wheels
Falken Ziex 502 tires (195/50/15)
Bug hide away exhaust modded to fit (Flow master soon)
36mm Dellorto DRLA's
1600 motor (2L eventually)
Old Volks Home X-Glass pressed bumpers ($150/ea)
Custom made (by me) Acrylic tail light lenses
LED tail lights, white LED parking lights, and white LED instrument lights
Isspro Marine fuel level gage (white faced)
Sony deck and cd-changer
Alpine amp and 6x9's
Kenwood 6\" 3-way speakers up front
Street Glow underbody neon, purple
Bugpack header
Franklin's VW Werks iron cross emblem
Custom made (me) interior panels and headliner out of Home Depot indoor/outdoor charcoal carpet
Lots of rattle can paint and a little POR-15 on the cab floor.

I think that is most of it, if anyone is interested in the tail light lenses, I can make for 58-61 bus as well as later oval style. Currently making them in clear, red, and smoked, or can do others if requested.

Enough selling myself, ha ha.
