I will be on the 6:00 am ferry Keystone ferry from Port Townsend, driving up that way. If anyone wants to meet up should be no problem.

I'll be leaving Lynden about 9:15 to 9:30. That crossing is usually the best for traffic and it's an easy shot to Hywy1.

hey chris, after checking out google maps, i would say that your best bet is to follow I5 to the border, use the truck crossing (usually faster) and then get on hwy 99 and follow it right into vancouver. hwy 99 eventually turns into oak street and that will lead you to all the main arteries. it shouldnt be too hard to find the cruise after that.

here's a map...

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&sll=...BC&ie=UTF8&om=0

here is another map that is a little more difficult to follow but it will get you right to the start of the cruise. see how you feel...

Take the Guide Meridian (Meridian St. exit) It's also the exit for Bellis Fair Mall. Turn right off the freeway and go straight up the Guide (about 10 miles to Lynden then another 4 to the border). Once you cross the border it's another 5 to 10 minutes to Hywy 1. We take this route a couple times a week.

allright, i'm getting jacked up. this weekend is going to be fun.

here's a little heads up for all those planning on attending the cruise.

- the "scenery" around stanley park and english bay can be distracting. please keep an eye out for the car in front of you.  ;)

- my cell phone # is 604-603-7947. it will be on at 10am on saturday morning and throughout the day so feel free to call if you're running behind, miss the start, or get lost and need directions.

- remember, this is all about fun. and hanging with friends and driving our vw's.

see you there. B)
