A Few Of My Fave's
« on: August 15, 2004, 02:35:45 PM »
Hey all. Here's a few I took from the show.
Ran out of memory on the cam otherwise I would have had more.
Enjoy!

I know it's not a VW but it's cool anyways:
My buddy's '68 Datsun 510:

Hopefully by this time next year I'll actually have a car in the show again!

Cheers!

The owner of the blue 58 is Adam out of Salem Oregon, he actually drove is to my house last weekend sitting right down.  The front was narrowed with adjusters by Patrick Hall (56 single cab with canvas bows and sprint stars) and runs a tire I have never seen before 175/55/15.  The interior in that car is all original.  The car has 98,000 original miles.  The mohair headlines APPEARs to be original, but it is soo hard to tell, so Adam isn't sure.  It is definately one sweet car.

those 175/55r15 are made by conti for the smart cars in europe , nice tire but hard to get , we still have a few left but i know c1 vw calagry also has a few left , way better then a 135r15 for ride and handling by the way luv that 5 and dime !!!!!
