I should have mentioned thursday nights in Richmond at the corner of no2rd and Blundel at the shopping center in front of Starbucks the rodders handout. Last night there was about eighty cars.

Hey Matt, it's thursday today. The A&W and Timmy's meets are tomorrow night. I'm going to head down to the beach I think. It's $3 to park in the lot but it's for charity and they are trying to bring back cruising on Marine Drive like it used to be. The more support they get the longer it will last. Would be cool to have Friday night cruising happening at the beach again. Lately it's just been old farts and mid life crisis types in there Corvettes and Benz convertibles.
i like this idea too. good cause and a cruise along the beach is always fun. i wont make it this week but would like to sometime soon.

I drove by the A&W after work (6ish) and there was a few nice cars there but mostly stock restos and old people in lawnchairs. Lots of hod rods and customs at the beach tonight, there was about 60 cars cruising in and out through out the evening. You pay $3 to get in to park (per car not per person) and you get a ticket so you can leave and come back as much as you want to cruise the strip. I'm sure some of you shiny car people stayed away because of the gravel parking lot but next week they are moving it to the grass field on the east side of the lot. Check it out next Friday and help bring back cool cars and cruising to the beach!

Yup I have lots of tuning to do, but it's rich and safe and on the road. 4th gear still makes me smile but the new turbo needs the RPM's up that's for sure!

It would be nice to have a cruise night in Vancouver, since 98% of the DVKK queens live in East Van Halen. Wallys was fun although the cardboard burgers were questionable.

Yes have an LM1 and the bung is going onto my pipe as we speak so it is going to be tuned this week.

I already know I need to make some changes on idle jets etc.. so it should go pretty easy.

roger that.

wally's would be a good meeting place and then maybe a cruise to the beach or to the hot rod show in richmond? i was thinking of trying to plan it for those people that dont make it to the classic....

....but i think it would be a cool once or twice a month thing.

Perhaps 98% of the queens should venture out of their bubble and join the rest of the cruise-ins already running in the lower mainland, not to worry we'll accept you.  :P

Was nice to catch up with everyone from this side of the tracks.
