What other years will 1959 Beetle doors fit properly. Please let me know.

Will fit 56 to 59 for sure, but would work up to '63 except the outer handles are different.
Could fit 54/55, but I think you would have to mod the striker plate area to work..I'm sure someone will correct me on this if I'm wrong.

Technically they will 'fit' post 63, but they will look 'odd'.  Small window doors on a 'big' window bug.

I could come off sounding stupid but aren't '64 doors the same as '63???  I guess I've never actually looked at them side by side but I was always led to believe that '64 was the last year of the small window.  I know the door handles (both inner and outer) changed from year to year but other than that what's the difference between '59 - '64???

afaik, 65 was the first year for increased window size and slimmer windshield and door pillars.

I know the windows on Waldo ('64) are smaller.  Otherwise I'd have a use for the '66 door glass I have.  :blink:   Perhaps it was a late '64 change?  I've never seen a large window '64 though. :rockon:
